Found these fun cupcake pom garlands and put this one together for the birthday tea party...pretty easy, but I was glad that I was only making one...

I also made this one. 

I am DEFINITELY not a painter, but I really enjoyed painting these and sewing them together was fairly easy.  I did some yellow and green ones as well in preparation for next weekend's animal birthday party.  :)

We celebrated my sweet girl's 4th birthday today with her very first birthday party with her friends.  It was a princess tea party, since she is about all.things.princess.  She had 5 of her friends from school and we made clay bead necklaces and decorated princess tiara shirts.  Hopefully all lots of fun for 4 year olds.  :)  I spent WAY too much time making things for this party...probably should have waited until she was 8 or 10 or 25 and would appreciate the effort...but...I had lots of fun decorating and crafting in preparation...

Now that the craziness of Easter is somewhat under control, there were some definitely good things that happened during a ridiculously busy week.

Like...remembering to set the table for Easter lunch the day before...

...and coloring Easter eggs for our centerpiece with my babies.  Even if they did cover them with stickers.  And most of them are brownish-green after being dunked in multiple colors.  :)

I really dislike throwing away my picture Christmas cards of friends and family once I put away all of the Christmas decorations, so I decided to arrange them over my fireplace to enjoy for a little bit longer.

 

I'm ready to put something different over my mantle soon anyway, so this helped it seem a little more interesting for the time being.
